- Membrane filtration treatment was performed on distilled water obtained by the treatment mentioned above.
- Finally, the obtained distilled water was sterilized and disinfected to obtain the drinking strontium-inch mineral water.
Drinking strontium-rich mineral water had the formulation of 2-100 mg/L of sodium ions, 0.4-1.5 mg/L of strontium ions, and 0.5-20 mg/L of calcium ions. Strontium is related to the function and structure of blood vessels, therefore it can effectively prevent hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. - Furthermore, stimulated pollutant water, concentrated acid (dense H2SO4) and alkali solutions (NaOH) with different heavy metal ions of Cr3+, Pb2+, Zn2+, Ni2+, and Cu2+ were prepared.

Uravu AWG is a thermal and desiccant-based system that makes use of absorption and desorption processes to convert ambient air into drinking water, priced at Rs 5 per litre. During the adsorption process, the air is passed over a desiccant core made of silica gel, which has a very high affinity for water vapour. The desorption process also lasts for another three hours, during which solar heat is used to release the vapour back. The moisture can then be condensed into completely renewable drinking water.
